The Boss RE‑2 Space Echo brings the legendary RE‑201 tape echo sound into a compact, pedalboard‑friendly format. Delivering authentic multi‑head tape echo effects alongside classic spring reverb, the RE‑2 captures the warmth, depth, and character that made the original Space Echo a studio and stage staple.
With expanded delay times of up to 2 seconds, tap tempo support, and a true stereo signal path, the RE‑2 excels in everything from rockabilly slapback to lush ambient echoes and dub‑style repeats. Designed for use with guitars, keyboards, and drum machines, it also features an external expression/control input for hands‑free parameter control, making it a versatile and expressive delay and reverb solution.
