Description
The Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH blends classic Charvel DNA with modern appointments to deliver a high-performance 4-string built for versatility and speed. Its sleek San Dimas body shape dates back to the late '70s, designed with a deeper cutaway for effortless upper-fret access.
A super-thin caramelized maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement, rolled edges, and a heel-mount truss rod wheel ensures fast, comfortable playability. The compound radius fingerboard and jumbo frets provide smooth, modern feel, while Luminlay® side dots keep you visible on dark stages.
Loaded with DiMarzio® Model P® and Model J™ pickups, the PJ configuration delivers everything from fat warmth and growl to articulate punch. Paired with a 3-band active EQ, blend control, and push/pull volume knob for active/passive operation, this bass is as versatile as it is powerful. A Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ XL nut, and open-gear tuners add sustain, stability, and rock-solid tuning.
Available in Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red finishes, with cream pickup covers, chrome hardware, and a licensed Fender® Precision Bass® headstock.
