Description

The Epiphone Newport Bass revives one of Epiphone's most distinctive original designs from the early 1960s, combining vintage-inspired styling with modern playability and versatility. Based on the rare Newport Bass first introduced in 1961, this updated version delivers classic looks, comfortable ergonomics, and a broad tonal range suited for today's bassist.

Its lightweight double-cutaway mahogany body and short 30.5" scale length provide a comfortable playing experience for musicians of all skill levels and hand sizes. The set mahogany neck features a Medium C profile and a 12" radius laurel fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets, offering smooth playability and excellent access across the neck.

Tonally, the Newport Bass pairs a Bass Sidewinder neck pickup with a TB PRO bridge pickup, delivering everything from warm, vintage-inspired low-end response to brighter, more articulate tones. A master volume, master tone, and blend control allow you to precisely dial in the balance between the pickups, making this bass equally at home in the studio, rehearsal room, or on stage.
