Description

Loaded with player-oriented features and iconic style, the Wolfgang® Special Striped is a highly-responsive and huge-sounding instrument that was born to crank out some serious rock.

Sporting eye-popping striped finishes, a black headstock, and chrome hardware, the Wolfgang Special Striped features a basswood body with arched top, robust graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck—carved and rolled to EVH's exacting specifications—and a speedy 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets for energetic riffing and blazing leads. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick and easy neck relief tweaks.

Custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, supplying girth, sparkle, and near-endless sustain. Every component is selected for high-speed playing, including a low-friction volume knob, a resistant tone knob, and the EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo bridge combined with the Floyd Rose® locking nut to maintain precise tuning. The EVH D-Tuna® allows for Drop-D retuning with strict accuracy.
