The Friedman® BE-OD Overdrive pedal delivers the legendary tone of the acclaimed BE-100 amplifier in a compact stompbox built for any pedalboard. Designed to capture the aggressive British-inspired voice of the flagship amp, the BE-OD offers an impressive range of gain—from dynamic edge-of-breakup tones to rich, saturated distortion suitable for modern rock and metal.
Its flexible control layout includes Volume, Gain, Tight, Presence, Bass, and Treble controls, allowing you to fine-tune everything from low-end response to high-frequency bite. Whether you're pushing a clean amplifier into classic rock territory or adding aggressive gain to an already driven amp, the BE-OD provides exceptional articulation, sustain, and responsiveness.
True bypass switching preserves your signal when the pedal is disengaged, while operation from either a 9V or 18V DC power supply gives you additional flexibility depending on your setup.
