Description
The JHS Bender from the Legends of Fuzz series faithfully recreates the legendary sound of one of the most sought-after British fuzz pedals ever made. Based on Josh Scott's prized 1973 MK3 Silver/Orange "Onomatopoeia" Tone Bender, the Bender captures the unmistakable character of the original while improving reliability for modern players.
Retaining the original three-germanium-transistor circuit, the Bender delivers an incredibly dynamic playing experience, responding naturally to picking attack and guitar volume adjustments. From smooth vintage crunch to thick, sustaining fuzz and aggressive psychedelic tones, it offers a wide range of classic British fuzz sounds that have inspired generations of guitarists.
A dedicated JHS Mode switch adds additional gain and a focused midrange boost for even more cutting lead tones. Finished in a custom wedge-shaped metal enclosure with vintage-inspired controls, the Bender combines timeless fuzz tone with modern dependability and road-ready construction.
