Description

The Seymour Duncan® Palladium Gain Stage is a high-gain preamp and distortion pedal engineered to capture the feel, response, and depth of legendary high-gain tube amplifiers in a highly versatile stompbox format. Designed to function as a complete amp-style preamp or as a powerful front-end boost, the Palladium delivers everything from classic rock crunch to modern metal saturation with exceptional touch sensitivity and dynamic response.

Three independent gain stages provide extensive control over your drive character. The main Gain control adjusts overall saturation, the Resonance control shapes low-frequency gain for a tighter or fuller response, and the dedicated Boost circuit adds additional drive at the front of the signal path for increased sustain, attack, and harmonic richness.

A powerful active EQ section includes Bass, Treble, Presence, Mid Level, and sweepable Mid Frequency controls, allowing precise tone shaping to complement virtually any amplifier or recording setup. Built with low-noise op amps, germanium clipping diodes, and true hardwire bypass switching, the Palladium combines boutique-quality performance with exceptional flexibility.
