Description
The
Classic Vibe Bass VI
is a faithful tribute to Fender's legendary low-end secret weapon, originally produced from 1961-1975. Tuned an octave lower than a standard guitar, the Bass VI delivers a unique tonal range that sits between guitar and bass, making it a favorite of producers and adventurous players alike.
This throwback model features a
poplar body
and
maple "C"-shaped neck
with a vintage-tint gloss urethane finish, paired with an
Indian laurel fingerboard
and
21 narrow tall frets
for smooth playability. Its
three Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups
deliver classic, versatile tones, controlled by three individual on/off slide switches and a dedicated bass-cut "strangle" switch.
For vintage-style expression and solid intonation, the
6-saddle floating vibrato bridge with barrel saddles
provides stability, while nickel-plated hardware, block inlays, and 1960s-inspired headstock markings complete the retro aesthetic.
