Developed in collaboration with Ryan "Fluff" Bruce, the Sterling by Music Man Fluff Artist Series StingRay is a straightforward, high-performance rock machine built to deliver powerful tones and effortless playability. Designed with simplicity and reliability in mind, this guitar focuses on the essentials so players can spend less time tweaking and more time playing.
Its offset double-cutaway nyatoh body is paired with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard, providing excellent stability, comfortable playability, and a responsive feel across all 22 frets. The hardtail bridge and locking tuners further enhance tuning stability, making the instrument ideal for aggressive playing styles and alternate tunings.
A Seymour Duncan JB Jr. neck pickup and JB Trembucker bridge pickup provide a versatile range of tones, from articulate cleans to thick, high-gain saturation. Combined with a simple single-volume control and 3-way pickup selector, the Fluff StingRay delivers a streamlined experience that stays true to its artist-inspired roots.
