Its lightweight chambered mahogany body is topped with maple, creating a resonant platform that delivers outstanding sustain, balance, and clarity while remaining comfortable for extended playing sessions.
A 3-piece carbon-reinforced mahogany set neck provides rock-solid stability and effortless upper-fret access. Equipped with a pair of Yamaha VH5 humbuckers, the RSS20 delivers bright, punchy tones with impressive versatility, making it equally capable of handling sparkling cleans, crunchy rhythms, and soaring lead work.
Yamaha's proprietary Focus Switch expands the guitar's tonal palette by shifting the resonant frequency and increasing output for a more powerful voice. Combined with jumbo stainless steel frets, a comfortable 12-inch fingerboard radius, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, the RSS20 offers dependable performance and modern playability.
