Description
The EVH® Wolfgang® Special is a high-performance guitar designed for speed, precision, and stage-ready tone. Featuring a basswood arched body and a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, it combines comfort and stability for aggressive riffing and blazing leads. Its 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets ensures fluid playability across the entire neck.
Equipped with direct mount EVH® Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups, the Wolfgang Special delivers rich harmonics, cutting highs, and snarling mids with endless sustain. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo, R2 locking nut, and EVH D-Tuna® provide precise tuning stability and allow instant drop-D retuning.
Additional performance-focused features include a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel, a treble-bleed volume circuit, high-friction tone control, attractive body binding, and a color-matched Wolfgang headstock. Every detail is crafted to meet Eddie Van Halen's specifications for professional-level playability and iconic style.
