The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass® V is a classic bass built for the modern player. The neck is designed for fast, fluid playability with a Modern "C" profile, a silky satin urethane finish on the back, and a comfy 9.5"-radius fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets for effortless movement.
An alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is offered in a range of modern finishes. Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® V pickups provide traditional Jazz Bass® growl while eliminating unwanted noise, and the all-new active preamp with passive tone control and full EQ section gives precise tonal shaping. A 5-saddle HiMass™ bridge, tapered-shaft tuners, and TUSQ® nut ensure outstanding tuning stability even under demanding performance conditions.
