Description

A direct descendant of the pioneering Esquire® — Fender's earliest solid-body electric guitar — the Telecaster® arrived in 1951 with a bold dual-pickup configuration that reshaped the future of amplified music. Its unmistakable sound and workhorse reliability quickly made it an essential tool for countless players.

Designed to guide musicians through their formative years, the Fender Standard Telecaster offers approachable playability, classic feel and inspiring tone. Fender Standard ceramic pickups deliver high-output character, while the comfortable "Modern C"-shaped neck and 9.5"-radius fingerboard make this Tele® an inviting companion for any style.
