The Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Special combines classic tone with modern upgrades for maximum performance. Its ash body, roasted maple neck, and 22 stainless steel frets deliver exceptional durability, resonance, and smooth playability. The 18-volt, 3-band preamp provides outstanding headroom and tonal flexibility, while the neodymium pickups offer powerful, clean output in one- or two-pickup configurations. With lightweight hardware, this is the lightest and most versatile StingRay yet—perfect for both stage and studio.
This BFR SR4 bass features a spalted maple top finished in Paua blue burst. The blue burst ash body also features a dark trans-blue finish on the back of the bass. The neck is a highly figured piece of white maple with abalone block inlays, and the headstock is painted to match the body. Limited to 150 pieces worldwide.
